We love parent and community volunteers! Volunteering opportunities present themselves all throughout the year. More hands make more things possible and we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the amazing support from those who give of their time freely.

A room parent volunteer plays a crucial role at Hughes. They provide extra support for the teacher for any needs that might arise. They are also in charge of coordinating the 3 classroom parties (winter party, valentines party and end of year party) throughout the year. Room parents handle logistics and planning, they help ensure that these events run smoothly and are enjoyable for both students and teachers. Interested in being a room parent??
