Our PTA Executive Board

We are pleased to announce that Hughes PTA has been named a 2025-2027 National PTA School of Excellence. School of Excellence is a recognition program that supports and celebrates partnerships between schools and families to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being for all students. Hughes PTA is one of only 324 PTAs nationwide to be designated a 2025-2027 National PTA School of Excellence. 

The path to becoming a National PTA School of Excellence began with the joint commitment from PTA and our phenomenal school administrative to work together to welcome all families, communicate effectively, support student success, speak up for every child, share power and collaborate with the community. Our PTA also asked for community input to create goals and a plan of action to address identified needs. Throughout the 2025-2026 school year, we took part in training, peer-learning calls and communications to fortify our work.

We are extremely proud of the work that we have done to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being of all students. However, the path to excellence is a journey, not a destination, and we look forward to continuing forward on this journey.
